Hockering is a rural civic parish in the county of Norfolk, roughly 11 miles from the City of Norwich.

The Parish Council
The Parish Council consists of 7 councillors who represent the village on various matters.
The Parish Council is the third tier of local Government, the others being Breckland District Council and Norfolk County Council.
​
We meet at 7.30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Hockering Village Hall.
​
Members of the public are very welcome to attend meetings and are able to participate during the open forum, which is part of the meeting.
The Parish Council is always happy to receive ideas on how to improve the local facilities.
